So…did the Two Old Goats lotion work??

Published by fibromommysarah at 12:45 am under Fibromyalgia and ME Edit This

Uhmmmm.  Hard to say.  I can NOT say that I had immediate relief or that my skin felt great.  I also can NOT say that I felt much difference after applying the lotion to my body.  It took every bit of energy to put this stuff all over my body…I can NOT continue to put it on and torture my back and hips and thighs when I am not feeling much relief.

I should have known it wouldn’t work because if it is too good to be true, it probably is.  That philosophy not only applies to easy money making, but to pain relief for fibromaylgia people. I didn’t care for it’s smell.  It didn’t have much of a smell, but the little smell it did has was not a pleasant smell.  My skin didn’t feel any more moisturized than it does when I use Vaseling Intensive Therapy lotion.

I am sure I will try anthing once if it says I will get pain relief.  I wish I could say that I won’t fall for trying a “miracle cream” time and time again.  I would like to say yes to everything that causes pain relief, but after a few failed attempts at pain control or relief…my pain pills every 6 hours, one pill every 6 hours and a muscle relaxer up to 3 times daily(but normally taken at night before bed)….my prescribed meds are always my go to when over the counter remedies fail.  I like icy hot pain patches and medicated pain patches, but they are so expensive.  I have to use several in a day because my ENTIRE body hurts,  and even the cheaper ones are expensive if you add up how often I would need to use them.  Plus, the other dowfall to those patches i, if I sweat(which I do a lot)they come off of me, and when I am in excess pain I sweat.

Okay…so my update on the Two Old Goats Fibromyalgia and Arthritis Essential Lotion.  Did it work?  I am going to have to say…for me…NO.  That doesn’t mean that it won’t work for somebody else…but for me…no.  Sadly NO.

THat oil stuff you used was out of our catalog that we used to sell out of…and now just use for ourselves. I think that stuff kind of works too…but only if it is used before the pain gets out of control….as for when it isn’t out of control…I like it but where I hurt I do have to have help in putting it on. I actually do like that stuff.

Also…I was sent an email about heat packs…homemade ones and I do use those…rice filled bags…I use those and they work but they need to be reheated so often it’s sometimes not worth it…but I do like them if I have somebody to be up and down heating them for me.
** and on a side note**I spray my rack packs with my favorite smell so I can have that pleasant smell instead of the smell of warm rice.

Lori…I just love you. Ps…on a side note…maybe you should do some checking into your pain…if your pain is constant…and all over…maybe it’s something worth looking in to. Just my opinion lady.
